Biography
I began my career as a research fellow at the Institute of World Economy and International Relations (IMEMO RAS). I then worked as an analyst at Tate & Lyle, headed the marketing department at the Federal Food Market Regulation Agency, and led the research team at International Sugar Company.
From 2004 to 2022, I worked at Cushman & Wakefield as a partner and Head of Research for Eastern Europe. I led cross-sector market research across Russia’s regions, the former Soviet Union, and other emerging economies, including Mexico, Nigeria, Brazil, and Iran.
Since 2022, I have led Commonwealth Partnership Uzbekistan (CMWP), a commercial real estate consultancy in Tashkent that we built from the ground up into a team of 25. We develop concepts for the country’s largest development projects, including Tashkent City, devise real estate portfolio management strategies, and conduct market research.
I am interested in the moment when a market is just beginning to take shape: the rules are still being written, data is scarce, yet decisions must be made now. This is the focus of my book, podcast, and talks.
